This was a project done for the Aerospace Practicum Course (AEE1202) where the students were responsible for designing a mission and an Arduino system to accomplish it. As an introductory course, it was a simple project in order to explore some of the applications of Aerospace Engineering in the industry and to practice the designing of a system and the use of Arduinos.
My chosen project was an Arduino system that simulated the functions of a weather balloon, with an IR distance sensor facing the ground and a Thermometer/Humidity sensor that measured the atmospheric conditions at the ground altitude measured simultaneously. The results were output to the computer as they were measured.
